What is Intrinio?

What can Intrinio do for me?

We provide real-time, intraday, EOD, and historical market data; real-time and delayed US options data; and standardized and as-reported US fundamentals, supplemented with company metadata, news, IPO information, insider transactions and ownership, and institutional holdings. We can also leverage our extensive partner network to match you with providers for other datasets like international market data, ETF data, mutual funds, and analyst estimates. 

Our data is available through flexible delivery mechanisms tailored to your needs, including our powerful, easy-to-use Web API, WebSocket API, CSV downloads, FTP, Snowflake direct database access, and AWS. Plus, you’ll get built-in ticketing, US-based chat and email support, and developer assistance to make integration as smooth as possible. 

How do I get started with Intrinio?

If you’re interested in subscribing to our data, we encourage you to request a consultation with our team. A consultation is a 10- to 20-minute call with one of our sales development representatives.

We ask a few questions about your business, timeline, and data needs. The consultation ensures that Intrinio is a good fit for your business before we move forward. 

Intrinio has matched thousands of clients with the right financial data. A consultation puts that expertise to work for you. It’s a simple way to find out if Intrinio can provide the right data, format, licensing, and coverage for your use case.

You’ll want a consultation if you:  
a) have a serious business need for financial data, and  
b) don’t want to spend days sifting through marketing material and technical jargon. 

What happens after a consultation?

If we can help your business, we schedule a 30- to 60-minute follow-up call with our product specialists to begin developing your customized solution architecture. 

After the sales call, we send a proposal detailing the solution architecture discussed with associated pricing.

Once you sign off on the proposal, we set up a 2-week trial period. Our engineers host an initial trial kick-off call to help your technical team get started and are available to answer all of your questions over the trial period. 

If you confirm during the trial that our solution meets your needs, you'll simply need to sign the contract to begin our long-term partnership.  

Our customer success team facilitates account creation and continues the onboarding process.

We provide ongoing support via:

  • a ticketing system for technical issues and US-based live chat
  • direct email and phone access to your customer success manager
  • technical support from our CTO and engineering staff
  • data sourcing services from our business development manager
  • marketing and promotional initiatives with our marketing team

How does Intrinio handle pricing and billing?

We build custom data solutions for our clients. When we propose a solution that meets the needs of your business, we’ll also attach pricing, including any exchange fees. We typically bill on an annual basis.

Please note that we offer enterprise-grade financial data solutions. While our pricing is competitive for businesses, our solutions are likely to be more comprehensive and robust than individual investors need.
