- Bulk download datasets are provided as six-month sample versions.

API Access
How quickly do I receive my API key?
For self-service plans, your API key is typically available within minutes after signing up.
Where can I find the API documentation?
The complete API documentation is available at:
You can also access documentation directly from your account.
- Log into your Intrinio account.
- Navigate to Subscription or Access.
- Select a data feed.
- Click View API Documentation.
The documentation automatically filters to the endpoints available for your subscription. You can switch between My Endpoints and All Endpoints at any time.
How do I know which endpoints I have access to?
The easiest method is through your Intrinio account.
Navigate to the data feed included with your subscription and select View API Documentation. The documentation automatically filters to endpoints included with your plan.
AI & MCP Server
Does Intrinio support AI coding assistants?
Yes.
Intrinio provides a Financial Data MCP Server that works with modern AI coding assistants to help developers:
- Discover available datasets
- Recommend API endpoints
- Generate API call sequences
- Reduce implementation errors
- Stay within your subscription entitlements
Learn more:
Can I connect to the MCP Server using my API key?
No.
The MCP Server uses OAuth 2.0, not direct API key authentication.
Applications must complete the OAuth flow to obtain an OAuth access token before connecting. Passing your API key as a Bearer token will result in a 401 Unauthorized response. Official MCP SDKs handle OAuth automatically and are the recommended integration method.
Data Access
How do I know which datasets are included with my plan?
Your account page displays every data feed included in your subscription.
For each data feed, you can:
- View documentation
- Browse available endpoints
- Access quick-start guides
- See only endpoints included with your subscription
Can I request data that isn't included in my subscription?
Yes.
If you need additional datasets or enterprise licensing, submit a Request a Consultation (RAC) form to discuss your requirements with the Intrinio team.
Billing
When will I be charged?
Trial subscriptions automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the 14-day trial unless canceled beforehand.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes.
You can cancel your subscription directly from your account without contacting customer support. Access continues until the end of your current billing or contract term.
