Bulk Downloads

Bulk Downloads provide an efficient way to access large datasets without making thousands of individual API requests. Instead of retrieving data one request at a time, you can download complete datasets as compressed files and import them into your own databases, data warehouses, or analytics workflows.

• Build or refresh a local copy of a dataset
• Backfill historical data
• Perform large-scale research or analytics

Accessing Your Bulk Downloads

All Bulk Downloads available for your account can be accessed in two ways:

Option 1: From Your Intrinio Account

1. Log in to your Intrinio account.
2. Navigate to Account → Access or Account → Subscription.
3. Select the data feed you want to download.
4. If Bulk Downloads are available for that dataset, download links will be provided.

Option 2: Using the API

You can retrieve all currently available Bulk Download links for your account using the Bulk Downloads endpoint:

GET /bulk_downloads/links

This endpoint returns every active Bulk Download your account is entitled to access, along with secure download URLs.

File Format

Bulk Downloads are typically provided as compressed files (ZIP) containing structured CSV or other machine-readable data formats, depending on the dataset.

Once downloaded, the files can be imported into databases, spreadsheets, cloud storage, or custom ETL pipelines.

Keeping Your Data Current

Bulk Downloads are periodically refreshed as new data becomes available. If you maintain a local copy of the data, we recommend downloading the latest version on a regular schedule to keep your database synchronized.

Trial Accounts

Customers using a free trial receive 6-month versions of supported Bulk Download datasets.

Once your trial converts to a paid subscription, you'll automatically gain access to the complete Bulk Download files included with your subscription.

Which Bulk Downloads Are Available?

The Bulk Downloads available to you depend on your subscription and the datasets included with your account.

To see which Bulk Downloads you can access:

• Log in to your Intrinio account.
• Visit Account → Access or Account → Subscription.
• Select a data feed to view its available documentation and downloads.
