WHICH SECURITY TYPES INCLUDE FUNDAMENTAL DATA?

Currently, the only security type that we have fundamental data on is US common stocks. This is because it is the only security type that files a 10-Q or 10-K statement.

All other security types, such as: ADRs, ordinary shares, units, etc. do not file 10-Q or 10-K statements, therefore we won't have their fundamental data.

HOW DOES INTRINIO OBTAIN THIS DATA?

We get our data from the 10-Q and 10-K statements that companies are required to file with the SEC. We utilize our proprietary algorithms to clean and provide the data to you.

WHY DO SOME COMPANIES HAVE ADRs WHILE OTHERS DO NOT?

The reason why you're seeing some ADRs come through the company's endpoint is because we're in the early stages of integrating ADR fundamental data.

ADRs are foreign companies that trade on US exchanges. Since they are foreign, they are not required to file 10-Q or 10-K statements. Instead, they file 20-F statements with the SEC.

WHEN WILL INTRINIO HAVE ADR DATA?

Soon! We are beginning to apply our algorithms to the aforementioned 20-F statements. Once that process is complete, we will be able to support ADR data.
